|Our full-day, year round, Toddler Program encourages hands-on exploration and social interaction in safe surroundings designed to help your 15 month old to young two year old learn about his or her expanding world.
Under the guidance of our early development professionals, toddlers enjoy learning experiences that promote independence, develop important social skills, foster self-confidence, and build the foundation of early math, reading, and writing skills. Since early experiences provide a foundation for later development, we are dedicated to providing an interactive environment in which toddlers can explore their world in their own unique way.
A toddler day at a glimpse:
Our day starts out as early as 6:45am. Students begin their day by eating a well-balanced breakfast. As they finish breakfast, they have free choice time to explore their classroom and form the beginning bonds with friends and teachers. Afterwards, the students go to chapel with Pastor or join in on Faith Circle and read the very basic stories of the bible and sing songs. The students then have the opportunity to play on our beautiful playground or stretch their muscles in our indoor gym. Throughout the morning, the teachers provide opportunities for the students to play math, pre-reading, and fine motor games that build the foundations for future learning. Toddlers also have the opportunity to do two art projects a day. Vocabulary building and early literacy skills are developed in our circle times through the use of themed stories, songs, picture cards, and games.
